HOW DO I JOIN?

Whether a teacher or school, just click on Create Profile and complete the online registration form.



WHO WILL SEE MY PROFILE?

Any registered school administrator can view job seeker profiles. Any visitor to the site can view job postings.



WHAT IF I DON'T WANT MY CONTACT INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET?

No problem. Teachers Online offers the option to post a private profile so none of your contact information can be seen online. This option is available to job seekers and school administrators alike.



I REALLY DON'T WANT TO CREATE A PROFILE, CAN I STILL BENEFIT?

Absolutely! Just choose Find Teaching Jobs and search for the job you really want.

However, benefits to you greatly increase when your profile/resume is available on Teachers Online.

HOW DO I LET AN EMPLOYER (OR CANDIDATE) KNOW I AM INTERESTED?

For job postings and public candidate profiles, contact information will be displayed online. Simply contact the person directly. For blind ads and private profiles, you will use the message manager. To simplify this process, be sure to take advantage of our Email Notification feature.



WHAT IS THE MESSAGE MANAGER?

The message manager is an email system allowing job seekers and employers/recruiters a direct line of communication. The mail can be directed to either your internal Account Manager or to an external email address.



WHAT IS THE EMAIL SCOUT NOTIFICATION SYSTEM?

The auto email feature is used to notify you automatically of any new profile that enters TeachersOnline.com which matches your search criteria. To take advantage of this service, use our Saved Search feature. Directions are provided on your Account Manager.



CAN ANYONE SIGN UP FOR EMAIL NOTIFICATION?

All Job Seekers are eligible for auto email notification. All schools with resume access are eligible for auto email notification.



HOW LONG WILL MY AUTO EMAIL WORK?

Each Saved Search lasts 30 days. You will receive auto email notification during this entire period. To stop auto emails, simply amend your Saved Search.



I PURCHASED A JOB POSTING ONLY, CAN I STILL BENEFIT FROM AUTO EMAIL NOTIFICATION?

Absolutely! Just be sure to create your Saved Search during your 10 days of unlimited resume access. You will receive auto notification for the full 30 days regardless of when you created the Saved Search!



WHY DO I HAVE TO LOG OFF BEFORE LOGGING IN?

You don't! Just be sure to hit the log out tab each time you exit our site.
We've added this feature for your online security and confidentiality.



IF I CHANGE MY MASTER EMPLOYER PROFILE, WHY ISN'T THE CHANGE REFLECTED ON MY EXISTING JOB POSTINGS?

The job posting form was created to provide you with the greatest flexibility. Postings are independent of one another to allow you the ability to alter contact information, to choose profile options, etc. Any posting created after a master profile update will reflect the most current information.



HOW LONG WILL MY PROFILE/POSTING REMAIN ONLINE?

Job Seeker Profiles will remain online 90 days. Depending on the type of posting you choose, your Job Postings will remain online for time period specified. Prior to this expiration, you will be given the option to renew your posting.



WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER?

As a Job Seeker, you can maintain a public profile. Prospective employers will be able to reach you directly. Just remember to note on your profile that you prefer to be contacted by phone.
